One of the important contents of "double reduction" is "comprehensively reduce the total amount and duration of operations." In order to strengthen the management of school assignments in compulsory education, the Ministry of Education has established a basic education "double reduction" work monitoring platform to directly conduct questionnaire surveys on assignment management to schools and the public. Monitoring shows that as of the end of October, most of the students in 94.7% of the schools were able to complete their homework within the specified time.
In addition to effectively reducing the burden of excessive homework on students, reducing the burden of off-campus training is also one of the goals of "double reduction". Since the implementation of the "double reduction" policy, Shenyang City has combined with the "zero starting point" teaching measures to say no to "upgrading the seedlings and promoting growth". According to statistics, after the implementation of the "double reduction" policy, the pilot areas have drastically reduced and reduced the proportion of training institutions. The Ministry of Education stipulates that before October 31 this year, the provincial education administrative departments must ensure that all off-campus training institutions in the region are registered on the platform.
